I was also going to suggest Butter before I got to the end of the thread. Presumably nobody will care about the missing comma or two there.

I swear Chief Verdigris is a miracle worker. We have successfully upgraded the D.S.S. Souleye's sensors to be able to detect worlds from farther away, and see features of them a little clearer, using some of the equipment we found in Dimension VVVVVV, and are running a deep scan as I type this.

I'd be very interested to see the results! Anything that can contribute to my dimensional mapping project would be much appreciated.

Thanks to help from Mother Starlight, esthfora, Meletiti Entelecheiai, and Xom, I now know I am in a world cluster, and can look into my universe's surrounding space. Everything I see still runs on the same physics, so I would have to learn even more about interuniversal to look into any other world, but it's great progress!
I can even make out what looks like other universes nearby. It's hard to tell: the inter-universal space is very chaotic.

The format should be fairly simple to figure out, assuming you or the forum's magic can decompress it. Of particular note, I think, is one dimension fairly nearby which looks like it has some interesting stable spatial anomalies, and wide spread life signs, mostly near these anomalies. Thoughts?

We have been approaching this dimension, and the results are pretty interesting. Firstly, those stable anomalies and the detected lifeforms tend to appear near each other, suggesting that they are useful in some way. Secondly, there is a second sort of anomaly appearing in the first few scans but not the rest, which I and Professor Vitellary suspect is caused by inter-universal travel, since it looks similar to some of the patterns visible in Dimension VVVVVV (although it disappears without a trace instead of tearing, which is probably good). That looks remarkably like a map of Nexus to me.

Oh? I suppose that would make sense then, if the anomalies we're seeing are wormholes. Perhaps we should arrange for a visit?

I'd be amenable to that. How do you usually go about entering universes?

Normally? We generate a landing shuttle matching the geometry of the dimension (since the D.S.S. Souleye in working condition has somewhat unusual properties designed for convenience). The shuttle splits its reality from the Souleye, then merges with the target dimension. This shuttle has a teleporter on it, which can connect to the central teleporter in the Souleye, which is, essentially, "orbiting" the target dimension.
However, where the shuttle lands in normal space is incredibly unpredictable. In this case it might be possible for you to simply build a teleporter yourself, if you can obtain the requisite materials. I'll send the schematics to you... please be careful and use discretion with distributing them, since an improperly (especially intentionally improperly) built teleporter may explode.

found warm snuggly spot on top of the clean sheets for sleeps I did that too! :3 But more importantly today was a work day, making it a great day! I also found a tablet that doesn 't run out of energy and recognizes me by my spirit signature.

My job is going really well. I'll be up for a promotion soon at this rate!
This thread needs more things in it. How's the multiverse treating the rest of you?
