I figured that since I created a complaint thread, I could also make a nicer thread. Feel free to share your fortunes or successes here.
Well, I finally found at least a few domains and people who don't loathe my existence. I had some effort to go through to justify allowing this Forum to remain open on Pantheon, but I did successfully tithe money to a few gods to operate as filters to any future compulsion effects. I didn't use my small allowance for much anyway, and I'd like to think the forum is a good place for it to go. Of course, convincing a couple of the gods was easier than I expected, but I am literally, by very virtue of existence, branded by Truth.

I do apologize again for that. It really shouldn't have done anything of the sort; the magic should have all been on my end. Would you be willing to help me debug my spell?

You don't need to concern yourself with it at all. I was only in minor trouble and I do not have many vital personal expenses anyway.
The spell worked perfectly right. The issue is a local one. Compulsions to understand, believe, or trust are synonymous with Wrongness on Pantheon, one of the few Universal Sins. I will explain better in the etiquette thread when I get done with work today.

That is precisely the point, though - it should not have produced a compulsion. The effect should have been identical to being spoken to by someone you understand well - often profoundly disturbing, unfortunately (I did not quite succeed in producing imperfect, but still useful, comprehension), but only a "compulsion" insofar as any communication with an unsecure computer like a human mind is a compulsion. ... Er. Is particularly good (purely natural) charisma considered mind control in your truth? In that case I most definitely apologize.

Meletiti: I have moved my response here, for relevance of topic. --- On another note, we found another stash of those weapons. Thanks so much MagicPhD! I was relieved from duty for the day but the rest of the team is continuing their search. I am glad I was able to help some by using this forum. (It is very reassuring and justifying even given the costs.)

I have a good thing to say. There are new kits in the nest! Their mama didn't let me touch them yet, but when she does i bet they'll like me to hold them. They're really little. I named one of them Jelly but i haven't named the other two.

Aww! That's really cute! You should name the other one Bean! So together they can be Jelly Bean.

They are cute, yah! I like Jelly Bean but they wouldn't be Jelly Bean, they would be Jelly and Bean, and that's not the same. And the third one would be left out.

Hmmm. What goes with Jelly? Peanut butter? Or maybe just peanut. Or jam, jam does too.

Oh the littlest one would be a really good Peanut, I'm going to call it Peanut now. But now the third one should match.

Hmmm. My mom likes bananas on her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Would Banana work?

If it was bread they would be a sandwich, and they are a little bit because they all curl up together! But bread isn't a good name.
Maybe banana is a good name. I like bananas. I don't know if it's a good name for this kit though, maybe.

Butter, i guess the third kit IS a good butter. Yah, it is. So now they're Peanut Butter and Jelly and so they are a sandwich, and they all have names now!
