He is bad at it. He is stressed and worse at it when stressed. He is not quite awful most of the time, but nowhere near as good as he should be, and he made a really really stupid mistake just now because stress. He pointed out correctly that he is not bad enough at infosec to publicly worship somebody as a god of infosec.

He made a joke about it to Ina, Ina didn't find it funny because she is on a warpath right now. xD

I assume that when I'm not on, Mother Starlight is distracted trying to figure out how to manifest in more worlds.

Mother Starlight told Andrew in a PM that she could prevent account hacking but she still recommended Andrew used a strong password. Did she just mean cross-world hacking or something? How does her ability to prevent hacking work with Inavet’s hacking into Prism’s account?

(semi-related to the discussion happening in the World of Darkness thread, but not related enough that I want to post it there) Every time someone says "world-sheaf" I end up thinking of this and now I am wondering what a bundle of worlds is.

Inavet is exploiting a certain glitch within the crystal network system Prism is using. She can't hack anyone but Prism. The issue isn't on Mother Starlight's end, it's on Facet's, but Mother Starlight could probably prevent it if she were aware of it. As of yet, I don't think she is?

Mother Starlight started paying more attention to security as a result of Andrew's PM. I think she should notice Inavet as a result, but in accordance with the consent rule, that's subject to your approval. If so, is Inavet's hacking still ongoing?
eta: the password thing was mostly because OOC I can't do much about that, so an IC immunity would be unenforceable.
eta2: I think a bundle of worlds would be a continuity, like Incandescence.

Ina's hacking is still ongoing, I'm fine with Mother Starlight finding her. It also gives Ina another reason to be annoyed with Andrew. "You GOT ME FOUND OUT BY THE ADMIN."

Andrew was worried about SCP-005 and wasn’t thinking about Inavet’s hacking. He is getting better, but only when he realizes he has previously made a mistake. At some point soon, he will start studying it directly instead of just learning from his mistakes.
I think that Mother Starlight might notice Inavet’s hacking but not have enough ability to act outside the Deep Sky to do much about it (since it is entirely in-world). If that were the case, would she inform Prism, or try contacting Inavet first?

I’m also not sure what the best choice would have been. After thinking about the issue and consulting Inavet, the information would still be important to have.

Yeah. Inavet is not inclined to be reasonable right now, it's likely when she calms down she'll apologize. Shit happens, and all.
