The heightened security measures are magic and sensitive to things like intent and identity. Mother Starlight might or might not be able to stop Inavet from hacking the client, but she should mostly be able to address problems from server-side.

I suppose that if she addresses them in the wrong way, Aestrix was planning to have Inavet get caught at some point.
How is she planning to address the issue? As I understand her, she would not want to leave somebody hacking Prism's account, and she would not want to turn her back on Inavet.

She PMed Inavet politely asking her to get her own account and assuring her that she can keep her hidden regardless.

I don’t like quite how much trouble I’ve gotten Andrew into, but even though Inavet hasn’t actually mentioned anything about the discovery to him, it’s probably too late to do anything about that now. He will be just be over here studying infosec and hoping he hasn’t permanently messed anything up, especially after he does hear about his other latest mistake.

I generally support messing around until something catches fire. I'm sorry that you seem to have caught on more fire than you would have preferred.

It really would.
I’m now imagining a Joker talking to somebody wearing that T-Shirt. They always catch on fire more than they would have preferred.
By the way, do you have some script to do the rainbow effect, or do you just manually set each letter’s color?

On another topic (should we collectively prefer to create a lot of small topics, or prefer to put a whole bunch of short-lived topics into this general discussion thread?), You are a *silly* *camper*. I am always Orz. I do not have the name because I am Orz. Orz is the name. Perhaps next I *spit* of other MagicPhD? No? It is *silly*. Not a good joke. Time to bring out the alts!

<3 And here's the one I actually use: patorjk.com/text-color-fader/(I gave in and got an OOC account, mostly because I don't like having my OOC posts split up between a large number of accounts and I'm trying not to spend much time logged in as Leaf while he is still in kidnap limbo.)

Kappa, if you want to log in as Leaf without him being seen as online, you can go to Edit profile, Privacy, Invisible, and choose "Yes". Then he will not be seen online, but you can still see what he would see. That's what I've been doing with Dotted Lines, who is also currently kidnapped! It might make more sense not to though, if you want everything he hasn't seen to be marked "new" so you know what he needs to see and react to.

I tend to read things 'as' the character I'm logged in as, so it's easier for me if I only log in as characters who could actually be reading the forum.

Mother Starlight is attempting to design a new manifestation in Facet that will bypass the crystal network to let Inavet connect directly and securely. I'm imagining that this new manifestation would use arcany.
Aestrix, it's your call whether she should succeed, and if so how soon.

On a side note - I do plan to eventually put Entelechy out there as a complete setting, maybe even publish it, so literary critique of its creation story is welcome and indeed solicited.

It should succeed! It shouldn't take too long, either.
