How do you want to talk to the Mycota? I could take you to their world or I could try to get one to make an account?

I think that *squirting* is sharing information more directly than just words and sometimes involves mental editing? It sounds like the Mycota might be able to do it (I don’t know if they could do it with Orz) but most humans could not.
Orz might also be able to get to the Mycota world on their own.

Thanks Andrew, the Mycota definitely do that. If Orz can connect with them mentally, they'll be ecstatic. They get so frustrated talking to us verbal only species sometimes.
Orz, I'll send the Mycota a message saying you want to visit. Do you need help finding them?

You *spit* of Mycota, but myself the Orz cannot even *smell* their *level*. Do you want to *squirt*?

I don't know if we have aliens, but I know that in my world we have humans, familiars and some critters like unicorns, dragons, phoenixs, ogres and a bunch that I can't remember right now.

Or maybe our squirrels are smaller. It sounds like many of your kinds are sort of like variations on an implicit human base, like mostly-humans with animal traits added on. So humans would have "the qualities of all other kinds of people", but in the opposite sense than you imagined: not all the qualities of each other kind, but only the qualities shared by all the kinds. ...Do you have apes or monkeys in your world? Humans are a type of ape, though in comparison to other apes we tend to stand upright more and have much less fur. That's an interesting way of thinking about humans! We have monkeys. They're mostly noted for their very flexible tails. They also tend towards having most of their hair on the tops of their heads. I've never noticed them having any trouble standing upright; tails really help with balancing.

Your monkeys sound pretty similar to humans, except that (like all apes) we don't have tails.

I am a spider. We call the people kind of spider "aranea". The other people I've seen are other aranea, and humans sometimes but not usually, and vashneesht but they're scary. I think there are more kinds but I haven't been very far yet! Maybe I can meet an elf or a kitsune or an ice beast.

Yah, you should come meet the ice beasts because they're nice. And I don't know what vashneesht are but the forum has scary things too. I'm scared of a lot of them and I wish it would all be okay. You can come hide in the caves if you want.

in my world you know people are people because they can shift, all tribes have human as one of their shapes and one other that they can shift to, in different ways and at different times. selkies can always put our skins on or off, which is the best way as long as you haven’t lost your skin and been pushed out of the tribe by idiots.

Sometimes I can take my skin off, but underneath I'm always a spider again. It's neat to imagine finding something new instead!

You're pretty like you are!(I'm not really one to talk though, seeing as I can look how I want.) Exoskeletons are neat, but you get tired easier at a larger size. Buuut when I'm in a reasonably sized society I use them too, they are great for stunt-flying!
Mh... maybe if I looked more like someone you should take serious, people will do that? It's usually not a problem in Toppled, sometimes only because I'm the scary eternal Angel dude you only meet when you've REALLY fucked up on a superglobal scale, but still! I've been studying human psychology lately and they are pretty visual.
Anyway, how about instead of messing with the stuff inside, which can make you sick, you try out fashion?
