Elf is different of Rock-Throw-Many-Rainbow, mean mean mean. Do of tree, do of animal, do many of fight, eat people sometimes. Live many long. Oh my goodness you have elves? You're the first person I've heard of that has more elves! I'm an elf! What's your world like, I'm really curious, are the elves nice elves?

Here elf is of mean. Elf is of forest, live of trees; kobold is of forest, live of caves, live of rivers. Elf do magic of animal - lion, bear, big hawk, big crocodile. Animal eat of kobold; elf eat of kobold; no more kobold, if kobold not do of smart, do of run, do of hide.
Other person kinds do of cut tree, elf fight other person kinds, do of eat. No people like here elf.
Maybe Rock-Throw-Many-Rainbow do of come here, tell here elf no do of eat? Kobold do of trade, maybe, many shinies.

We definitely don't eat people! Or set animals on things! I'm sorry the elves there are mean. If I have a way to talk to them I will ask them to stop! Or if they have a Ministry like I do, you should tell them, and they will make them stop!

I think the elves in lurkingkobold's world probably do not have a Ministry that is anything like your Ministry, Prism.

Yeah, that sounds about like what I expected.
I wonder what, if anything, we can do to help the kobolds with their elf problem...

am a cat. We have a human in my world but it is not very sapient. It doesn't know where my mouth is and keeps missing my mouth and putting the foods in its own mouth instead.

In Toppled life is procedurally generated by a process called "Natural Selection of survivability." Because Intelligence makes things good at everything, including survival, this causes intelligent life pretty often, if slowly. The process is accelerated through souls though, cutting down the time needed from "can use sticks as tools" to "recursive derivation Algebra" to about ten million years.

That is… interesting. My world appears to have no gods at all. A large percentage of humans would disagree with this statement, but the majority religion specifies afterlifes which are similar to the real afterlife situation, but with a few major differences including that there is no evidence of a god in the afterlife known as Heaven or a devil in the afterlife known as Hell. On my world, humans seemed to have evolved using something that sounds like a similar process, although naturally occurring and probably different in some details. However, according to a quick encyclopaedia search, the first tool use was less than five million years ago and we already have recursive derivation algebra. Leaf, how did human evolution work on your world? Perhaps daeva were a complicating factor on mine. I don’t really know what caused daeva to look like the same thing that humans look like, when humans evolved and daeva keep spontaneously appearing. I could come up with some guesses, but none of them would explain why humans also seem to be common elsewhere in the multiverse. Gabriael, do souls in your world work like they do in Hadassah’s? Those don’t sound like they’d speed up the ability to learn mathematics.

Human evolution in my world worked according to the same basic "the things that are better at surviving and reproducing will survive and reproduce more and consequently produce more descendants" principle that any other evolution in my world did/does. No external influence caused us to appear as far as anyone can tell.

Do you know if the timeframe matched the 10 million years from gabriael’s world or the much shorter one from mine?

Shorter one.

The only sapient beings in my world are humans, and beings derived from or created by humans.
It is not entirely clear whether or not we Inspired are still entirely human, but it is clear that we were human at one point, and that humans can become Inspired. Other metanormal beings in the world seem to follow similar principles; hemophages and lycanthropes, for instance. Additionally, the Inspired often create various artificial beings, some of which are sapient.
