Both The Shining One and Zin wish me to convey their sympathy and regret that they cannot assist in, quote, "eradicating this undead menace". I am likewise unable to render even indirect aid, for the reasons discussed; I can see nothing that occurs within that world.

I don't exactly follow the planning going on here, butv would happily accept any assistance.

My bodies are disposable and I have experience dealing with annoying Powers. A rescue attempt isn't totally out of the question. ... No, I suppose it isn't. Do try not to delete the Gauntlet if you go, though; as annoyingly sadistic and obstructionist as it may be, I do get the impression that the World's stability depends partially upon both traits. Also, I would be careful removing her from the premises, unless you can negate incoming attacks directed at another. It would depend on exactly how fast the vampires are. Assuming they're not supersonic, I should be able to protect her without damaging anything. There are faster and more efficient ways, such as making her invisible, but I have a feeling people would object to that.

Clarification, ME: Were you talking about attacks of the vampire variety, or the exploding-eyeball kind?

The problem would not be with the vampires, but with the Gauntlet, which can in fact throw escalatingly large magical attacks at arbitrary speed and seems to be resistant to time powers. The problem looks more like "inexplicably exploded" than "physical object moving at high speed." Clarification, ME: Were you talking about attacks of the vampire variety, or the exploding-eyeball kind? The latter.

Ah. In that case, I might have to try.
The obvious thing would be to make us both imperceptible to the Gauntlet.

I am, uh... Not especially comfortable with trying to sneaky pasta n evil mahical barrier that explodes eyeballs. I don't exactly have a way to get mimr back If it just exploded your eyeballs, we have several people who could restore them, I believe. Though it would, yes, likely be unpleasant. The bigger problem is that when I was probing this, my body exploded several times, which is generally less survivable for most humans and derivatives.

... Is the gauntlet particularly likely to attack her if I, completely coincidentally, go deal with a local vampire nest?

Ways to retrieve exploded eyeballs are pretty common over on our side of the evil magical barrier, but yeah, let's try to figure something out that involves less chance of our rescuee's eyeballs exploding.
Such as that, yes.

I would be totally fine with someone killing all the vampires, yes.
And not exploding, obviously.

I would be totally fine with someone killing all the vampires, yes. And not exploding, obviously. I'm personally fine with gratuitous murder, but that would be undiplomatic at best. There are better ways.

... Is the gauntlet particularly likely to attack her if I, completely coincidentally, go deal with a local vampire nest? Not as I understand it, no. It's not very smart, it just really doesn't like interference. Expect unpleasant things to happen to your body, but I don't really expect... ... Huh. That... is a useful small-scale question. I can just ask that. ... Nope. Inhiding will be fine.

Sorry I missed this earlier.
inhiding, you are apparently in my world. I may be able to offer some advice/assistance, without the chance of things exploding, if you could give me some specifics as to your location?
Also, I'm going to veto any plan which involves the reality-destroying abomination entering my world for any reason whatsoever. For, uh... the obvious reasons.
