Hi! It's for talking to people in other worlds! It's nice to meet you, I'm Dispersive Prism, I'm an elf from Facet!

Are you alive?

I’m pretty sure Dispersive Prism is. I am also alive. There are a few edge cases depending on your definition of the word “alive”, but most of us count by any definition I’ve heard and all of us count by some definitions.
Are you not alive? How are you communicating, then?

Yes! I think all of us are alive here.

I have no live things in my domain. Once I was alive but now I am not.

But you're talking just fine? How did you stop being alive?

I died.
How else.

Oh. Well typically dead people don't create forum accounts and ask 'Why is this place,' so I am a little confused.

What is your afterlife like? Different people here have different ones, it seems; I seem to have more concrete knowledge of my afterlifes than other people, but I have not actually been to any of them.

It is very empty. I put air in it so my body would stop suffocating, because that was annoying. Then I put a floor made of rock, and straightened out the resulting gravity problem. There are many many things available to me to bring here, but I don't want to start until I know how they will be organized. I like things to be organized.

What sorts of things are available to bring there? Because being in a vast expanse of nothingness sounds very boring!

Dead things. Destroyed things. All of them. All of the history of things. There are very many and I don't have them organized at all. I think they are from very many worlds, but it's hard to be sure without sorting through them and that will be tedious.

How do you hope to sort through all the destroyed things from many worlds?
What counts as destroyed? If I drop a coffee mug and it breaks into pieces, that sounds destroyed, but what if I did it deliberately to make a mural? What about the lump of clay that originally went into making the coffee mug (assuming it wasn’t demonmade)?

Yeah, wow, that's a lot of stuff to sort through. Can you classify them or something? Or get someone else to classify them all for you?
