Cloudbank is a nice city. a good city, even. but it has a problem. everything in cloudbank is determined by popular vote, and that means... well, it means that fads run the city. nothing's properly permanent around here, nothing at all - and at the same time, that means we're stuck. once those cycles of 'everything old is new again' get started, they're very hard to, ah, stop. we're constantly ephemeral.
we - that is, the Camerata - want to fix this.

Andrew, I am also not sure whether our digestive systems are compatible. But if the fruit was reported as definitely unsafe, I would not bother the analysts with it. Analysts would check edibility by checking whether its patterns for fruit would produce any known toxins, then by having several non-leader tifozhe eat it. If it does not make the tifozhe sick or kill them, it is probably safe for humans to eat.
It is not a problem. I prefer to know if there is a potential danger, and it is better to be warned about them quickly, so thank you. I checked, and the seeds have patterns, and they make sense for the kind of plant that it is. Are the rest of you sure that your fruits' seeds have patterns instead of DNA?
Sometimes there are sets in which the new species is not found, and then is found later. There have been some gaps somewhat recently that this plant could plausibly have filled.

I'd like to get some Linking Books to Vearth, if possible. Mira can you help with this? spiderspider I can get a bus-pass; where would you like to meet? Royce Bracket Perhaps the people could be persuaded to vote in a rule that any decision can only be repealed by at least as large a majority as the one that passed it. This should introduce a degree of stability.

I want to trade! I'm interested in any unique technology, especially stuff you can send two of so I can take one apart.
I can trade interdimensional teleporters, they require an address but I can help you figure that out. I'm also good at making stuff on demand. If you want a derivative of a technology your world doesn't have, I can help you out.

It is probably relevant to announce at this point that I am (with the assistance of Cassandra) able to provide correct answers to arbitrary questions (>95% of the time), and am interested in doing so in exchange for assorted samples of magic/technology. Thorn can vouch for the accuracy of my answers.

How complex are your answers?

My answers, naturally, depend on the question. I will address straightforward questions with equally straightforward answers, elaborating if necessary in cases where a simple answer would be incomplete or misleading. In general, I provide answers which are more than a simple yes or no, but they will not in any case be longer than a single complete sentence.

Thank you Cassandra. What kind of technology interests you or Grigori?

Generally, stuff we don't have, and might feasibly implement.
I am, for reference, from an 'Earth'-type universe (with a few other weird things going on), at 2012 CE; if you get the reference, you should know roughly what we have.

I do, I have a bunch of stuff that might interest you! The most obvious is teleport stones, but I would need to know you better before I shared how to make those. Smaller tech: -Liquid nitrogen temperature superconductors (hard to make, you might not have the necessary equipment) -Element transference (this isn't very practical, but it's cool. It adds protons to existing elements to create new ones. Some work better than others) -Blood producing machines (any blood type) -Dimension detection and universe tracking (my current project, not finished, but I'm always happy to talk about it) -Other medical tech(I don't know much about this field, but I could talk to some people for you. Accelerated healing, replacing aged cells, powerful antibiotics designed not to create resistant strains of the disease)
Anything sound interesting?

I am a mad scientist. We pretty much run on 'awesome, but impractical', and my Peers are eager to try out all kinds of weird things. (seriously, I've been accumulating so many favours since I found this place, you have no idea)
That said... there are vampires in my world. They are generally pretty nasty, but blood producing machines might make long-term situations that aren't "vampires rule large portions of the world and treat the inhabitants as disposable cattle" viable.

Alright Grigori! Blood producing machines and element transference it is. Do you want to meet in person? If you don't what's the best way to share the information with you?

Grigori's world is not very friendly to travel in or out, or to high-bandwidth data connections. I'm flying under the radar, but you should be able to send attachments up to about a megabyte.

If transport could be somehow arranged, the Vale could offer Silk, Ingomei, and the Kyuubi's blessings. The last is likely the easiest to transfer via forum.
Chi might also be possible, but it might be something of a regulatory nightmare.
