Our dwellings, our tools, our pretty much everything is fleshcraft here. I don't really get it, but it's hilariously easy to spot visiting flatlanders by the way they gawk and cringe, so if you don't have it wherever you are - tourists and airship crews from the continents have at least heard about how we live up here. I'm envious and disgusted all at once. On one hand, fleshcrafted cities must be beautiful. On the other hand, you have to grow things inside yourselves. We should compare our respective types of magic at some point - your fleshcrafting sounds very different from mine. I am not sure what an erovore is? I would guess 'sex-eater', which would make sense with Test Bed's apparent lack of a nudity taboo. ... Wait, you're a sentient plant. Do sentient plants wear clothes? We should have a culture or fashion thread for this.

At least in my home dimension, PhD stands for Doctor of Philosophy. It's a credential obtained from a university for submitting original research to them after obtaining other prerequisite credentials. "Philosophy" in this case doesn't necessarily mean the field of philosophy, but rather any field which doesn't have its own type of Doctorate (which fields these are generally depends on the university).
Edit: Whoops, he beat me to it. By a whole page. I'm still not used to the page numbers being at the top like they are here.

Exactly!
I prefer the science, but to each their own.

I have been inspecting the object through which this forum manifested itself earlier this week; my conclusion is that if it is not what it appears to be, it is extraordinary well disguised. (And it has none of the touch of the one who I would expect to be involved with extradimensional happenings on it, which is, to say the least, very interesting).
Call me Cassiel. Most everyone does. I will likely mostly be observing, at least for the moment, but I found I had some things to say, so it seemed polite to introduce myself.

Who would you expect to be involved with extradimensional happenings...?

Assuming this is actually what it claims to be --
This world's former goddess of Stars, now more commonly known as that of Magic or Dimensions, also associated with pain and unhealthy relationships, and a certain cult seeking to bring about the end of the world.
She has, in the past, claimed to have access to worlds beyond ours, through her domain.

Cassiel, are there no other means of interworld travel/communication available in your world beyond the means of this goddess?

That description is uncomfortably familiar. I'm used to assuming that I'm the only person in the Deep Sky; if there's someone older and larger in here with me, who favors – of all things – unhealthy relationships and the end of the world...?
Eeegh.

Mira, this is the only potential exception I have seen, unless you would call movement between the vaults and the material interworld; all of the gods and their angels (and some others) have access to that. Though she remains better at manipulating them.
It is possible there are others, but I would have expected to hear of them.
'Mother Starlight': I did observe that. If you are not her -- of which I am not yet entirely convinced, but if you are not --
If anything, the sense I get from this is of what her precept is thought to have looked like before she fell. I have no idea what that means, unfortunately.
I hope she cannot find you, but my advice if she does -- she tends toward manipulation more than direct combat. You can get a long way against her simply by not accepting her premises.

I am not sure what an erovore is? I would guess 'sex-eater', which would make sense with Test Bed's apparent lack of a nudity taboo. It technically refers specifically to empulse-eaters, but that usually amounts to the same thing. And you all probably don't have empulse in your worlds. Still getting my head around that. Fwaaah. I really need to put together a post for the magic thread.

Finally, somebody from an world like mine who specializes in physics. Maybe I won’t have to answer so many physics questions now. I don’t mind questions in generally, but I really don’t know very much about physics and have wished other people would help more.

Yes, feel free to send me physics questions. I enjoy teaching and spreading knowledge.
On that note, I recognize that I am suboptimal at infosec. I intellectually understand the need for it in certain situations, but it runs counter to my instincts, and won't be my first response to anything. Just a warning for the paranoid types here not to rely on my silence too much.
