I was under the impression she merely did not wish to exist. But I suppose that world, or lack of world, is terribly strange; if 'things must exist to be interacted with' were to fail to be necessarily true somewhere, that seems like a likely place.
Hmm. I don't think any Spark has managed to warp logic quite that much...

For example if someone is imaginary or an illusion, they do not exist. You can prove that some things don't exist with science. But sometimes someone who doesn't exist will still form preferences about things and it's not ok to ignore them just because they aren't real.

If they're interacting with you and persist over time, how can you tell that they are imaginary? That doesn't make much sense. If they can't interact with anyone else, then they seem to be part of you. And if they *can* interact, I don't see how they are imaginary.

I think everyone should be able to have a place of their own, where no one else can go without their permission. I don't know if that's always practical, but if someone say you shouldn't be allowed to have that then that's usually a bad sign.
Relatedly, people should be allowed to have secrets, and it's wrong to make someone tell you things, or to find out without their permission.

I second the above. Multiple people on this board are very bad at privacy.
