For people like me who like to see what everybody thinks of a new character idea before making the account. I'll start: I kind of wanna make a pixie from Alicorn's pixie ausj series. I haven't fully figured out the character concept yet, but their plot arc would definitely involve Raezenoth getting super mad about pixie slavery.

How educated will this pixie be? Are you planning on having pixies actually be as smart as goblins with just a different style of communicating, or not quite as smart but still enough so that the pixie slavery is obviously bad from an outsider’s perspective? The original world could be read either way, and the character concept and plot arc would work either way.
I greatly prefer the first option, but I like this character idea in any case.

Seems like their plot arc could also involve Lurker, once she starts doing the thing?
In any case, second the liking the idea.

I like the ambiguity, personally. So neither side is obviously factually wrong, even though it's obvious which side is morally wrong.

*rubs hands together gleefully*
I was the anon who was really excited about their thesis work on pixie training, and that's roughly how I'm planning to play it - pixies are different from goblins, with different advantages and disadvantages, and they come across to goblins as obviously inferior but the reality is somewhat more complex.

I regret designing a character who includes little picture doodles in his posts.

So... I have this concept:
Tama, The Most Honorable Manager of the Linecross River Station. A Cat Familiar that works in a ticket booth and is extremely devoted to her job. She takes care of her beloved station and doesn't let anything getting in the way of her job. Not even the ghosts that cross to and from the afterlife every night. Notes: Tama is super-excited and happy, but doesn't understand that her job isn't that interesting. She can sell tickets that allow people to come back as ghosts (Which might make resurrection easier?)

A concept, for your consideration:
Imagine, if you will, a world of humanishes with the distinguishing characteristic that post-pubescent males must maintain a fluid-bond with at least one female sexual partner, else they cocoon-and-metamorphose to become female themselves. It has been less than a generation since modern medicine identified and figured out how to synthesize the enzyme that prevents male-to-female metamorphosis. Truckloads of cultural baggage ensue, precluding anything as sensible as mere personal preference being a primary determinant in using or not using the enzyme supplement.
This could easily be set on an alternate Earth, but I think if I went with it I'd set it on an alt of Thessia instead, 'cause that would be more fun.
Some (lackluster) character ideas for this world: A teen boy who wanted to be a girl and was abstaining on purpose and looking forward to the metamorphosis, only for the enzyme supplement to become available just in time that he has to suffer stigma in refusing it. Or, a man who is just socially successful enough to have false hope of not needing the supplement, and faces a different stigma for continuing to use it instead of facing reality and crossing over to join a harem like he's 'supposed' to.
I don't know if I will do anything with this, I can see a lot of potentially interesting cultural commentary to be had, but this setting idea kind of popped into my head without including any Important Characters to go with it, unless I import an alt arbitrarily.

Characters I intend to bring in at some point:
The world of Terraria
Either the main antagonist, or a protagonist/minor character, of the Gemcraft series of games; I haven't yet decided on the details and probably won't until I beat Gemcraft: Chasing Shadows

Anyway A new idea is a Armoured Bear Cub (from His Dark Material series), but completely lacks a name.

I intend at some point in the near-ish future to bring in a character from the Sims games. (I will not be playing as their actually being simulations, so there should not be a repeat of the Zenith Incident.) Said character will be able to create potions of youth and other interesting things, not trivially but pretty steadily. Said character is kind of Bellish and would rather people not die, so she will be offering them free or at the cost of shipping to people who would like to research them, figure out if they work on the people of their world, try to find out a way to mass-produce them or duplicate their effects, etcetera.
I imagine this will have effects on things that people are already doing, like anything involving Ka. If this messes up anyone's plans I am willing to wait on introducing the character/have her not be able to make potions of youth yet/make making them more costly.
It does occur to me that this sort of thing could mess up Inavet's current plotline in particular, but I'm not planning to introduce her for a while yet so it shouldn't be an issue.
Anything anyone has to say about this would be appreciated!
