I'm finally not the only werewater I know of. I'm finding more and more demihumans scattered around my world recently, some of kinds I've never heard of, but I still haven't found any other changelings who've learned to fission themselves like I did. So far, the most significant examples of demihuman organization I've seen are isolated families.
I may be unchallenged. I plan to continue with a policy of stealth, because I'm not as sure as I'd like to be, but what I've seen so far is promising.
I believe I'm secure enough in my power to start, hah, answering relevant prayers in person, so to speak.

I'm glad for you, dewdrop! I gather that you have reason to fear being challenged? I'm curious as to what it is you plan to do.

We've been investigating the physical laws of our universe when Sparks do not interfere, with some help from MagicPhD. I took a look at the data and concluded that the laws make sense as long as you don't try to unify them; gravity and movement follow one set of laws which are true at all points in space and have universal time, but electromagnetism and light follow different rules (and slightly different ones than are true in his world). It made perfect sense to me because I'm used to dealing with conflicting sets of rules between different Sparks' work.
The professors still need to check that these are correct when there are no Sparks involved, but it would explain why Yarth is so accommodating to Gifted work. It probably also means that any magic can be imported here and work according to some internally consistent set of standard principles, as if the world that created it was a specific Spark.
And also, Dyne minting kits are great! I'm in full Spark fugue investigating this and have been for a couple hours, and I'm feeling perfectly stable. Not getting carried away at all!

I managed to build a really elegant new engine. It's not as powerful or sturdy as the old design, but it can run on heat differentials small enough to use solar heat as well as fuel heat, and it uses less of both. It's probably not very useful compared to the things other worlds have, but I'm still rather proud.

How can an engine be built to run on sunlight instead of coal.'

Coal makes things hot, that's how it can power an engine. Sunlight can make things hot, too. I don't think I can explain very well over this place, unfortunately.

I wish you luck and would like to advise that NOT getting hit yourself is more important than hitting your opponent.
We haven't lost a single squad member and only three civilians total, in the last fifty Neuroi attacks. This is largely down to the support structures we have, especially scouting and intelligence. So I'm saying thanks to them.

I wish you luck and would like to advise that NOT getting hit yourself is more important than hitting your opponent. Yeah. I started out really bad at it, and now I'm winning more. I think they might just be letting me win though. It was just candy-canes, even when I let them get me -- by accident - I couldn't get hurt. But safety is important, thanks! Now that I have the hang of it it's very very safe. It's something new to do though! Congratulations for your successes!

A town of raven-people are building a town in and near some of my trees, and I hope they will at least help protect them.
