Whoa, what happened to a bunch of people's avatars?
Edit: Never mind, they weren't loading for a while but then they came back.

Archangel: Dotted Lines has a power that lets him see how things are organized, especially vague and menacing secret organizations like the Foundation, and also sometimes gives him intuitions about how they do things. Would you like this ability to apply to the Foundation, and if so, would you like him to say how they knew the people were singing the contents of the threads?

Sure, if it works over the Internet or Internet-equivalent. It won't exactly endear him to the Foundation, though.
The answer's just that they were already expecting that because it had previously been the forum's content in some format. And they confirmed it by comparing the choreography to the precise number of subforums and topics and approximate lengths of posts; nothing impossible. If the power is about how things are organized, he'd probably find out about the massive numbers of expendable casualties first, right? Or stuff about how many different things the Foundation does that Agent ███████ might not know about? (If he gets too much in that direction, they might just stop interacting with the board.)

He is not well liked by secret organizations for some reason!
The sort of organizational information he gets is things like: what is an organization, who reports to whom, what are the branches and their goals, etc. He could probably find out about the number of expendable casualties first most easily if he was looking in that direction, it would be less likely for him to find how many things the Foundation does the agent doesn't know about. A lot of the information is more structural than specifically secret-oriented.
I'd like to avoid doing something that stops the foundation from interacting with the board. I'll check with you about secrets he could find out and reveal, and if it would make the Foundation leave, I can contrive for him to either not look that way, be unable to find it due to interference from something weird from Keter, be made temporarily unavailable to the board or something similar, or have something in his own world discourage him from reporting his findings. Would that work?

I’d like to add another note of you being welcome here. Everybody familiar with Incandescence or the Adventures of Demon Cam section of Alicorn’s Sandboxes, which is most of the players who came here from Alicornutopia, will recognize Andrew’s setting. The characters won’t, and if you have questions your character wouldn’t think of I’d be glad to answer them in PM to either this account or Andrew’s. If you want to learn more about Andrew’s world, you can consult this thread in Alicornutopia. This forum has inherited the glowfic convention of, except in special circumstances, no character you see is fictional for another character. Now that a_potato exists, nobody has heard of or read the Harry Potter books.

I mentioned this in the other thread, but I really love the Pantheon setting. I tend to be more interested in the societal implications of magic systems than the technical details of the magic systems themselves, and this world is hitting that button.

To clarify, the not-fictional convention is somewhat looser for genres than individual works. You might get a King Arthur and someone who'd read Arthurian myth, but the Arthur's world wouldn't match any specific story or version that the myth-reader knew.

Eeeee! Monument Valley is an excellent game! I'm not quite sure how to imagine its mechanics as connected to Esthfora's world which is also her?

Yes, I didn’t mean to imply that this was a hard and fast rule. There are edge cases, exceptions, etc. Andrew does not know even about the type of world QUALITY DISCOUNT SPELLBOOKS is from, although it’s possible that kind of thing exists on his world and he just doesn’t know about it. This means that when there’s something involving his inventory or a dungeon level (both of which are mentioned in spells he has read about), he doesn’t quite understand what’s being said.

The world of Monument Valley runs on a geometry and physics that are logically impossible. Parts of Esthfora's world-that-is-also-her work on similarly impossible principles. The aesthetic is also surprisingly similar considering Monument Valley didn't even exist when I first thought of Esthfora.

Does anyone know of a way to have 2 sets of private messages running at the same time? I am asking because there is an IC conversation happening, and I want to ask OOC questions, but don't want to have to sort through them if we decide to make them publicly available to read.

I think you can just send someone a separate message. Leaf has two PMs going with Andrew, one IC, one OOC.

Oh okay! I wasn't sure if that would work or if it would just make another one in the same group. Thanks!

Anthusiam: Thanks! I am glad Pantheon isn't just something I like writing. I've had something in mind for it for a while, but decided to go ahead use it here.

The Foundation has zorkmids now. They got them by making halfway decent copies based on Andrew's data, and feeding those into 914 at the Fine setting until it spat out the genuine article. 832 confirmed that it was a zorkmid, and then they duplicated them with 038. (Not technically cross-testing anything!) Archangel isn't going to bring this up in-thread, so I thought I'd post it here.
