To those who seek Beauty yet cannot craft their own.

Well, this is a new one. What's being dedicated, I wonder?

I humbly apologize for my hasty inscription. I had believed myself to have at last succeeded in crafting the Unscribed Book, an artifact which would illuminate itself with stories beyond counting. Yet it appears I have instead intruded upon conversations in a collection of planes unknown to my humble mind, and in dedicating my work I instead interrupted these discussions. I will attempt to understand this artifact further, and see if I can restore the privacy you denizens rightfully deserve.

It's okay! You can join in and talk, too! We're all really nice!

I can't speak for the rest of the denizens, but as far as I'm concerned you're welcome to participate.

This is a place for people to talk to each other. Keeping the conversations private would be counterproductive.
You are entirely welcome to be a "denizen" yourself.

It might help if you did not think of this as a book, whether it appears that way to you or not. In my culture at least, people often do not like to write within books (the initial crafting of the book was an exception when that was still done by hand, but since this book is apparently supposed to write itself that doesn’t apply to you). Instead, you might be better off thinking about it as a collection of open letters, where you are entitled and encouraged to write your own letters for the forum.

I believe I understand better now. I am glad I have not intruded on any discussions. While I would not normally mark such a beautifully illuminated tome even with the encouragement Andrew provided, I have now observed my writing to be illuminated by the magic of the book in the same style as the rest. So I will endeavor to contribute to chapters where it is possible I have words of value.
